Interior Encounters FAQ
While there isn’t anything wrong with hiring a firm or ad agency, their prices can be steep. Most agencies tend to not have writers in-house meaning that they outsource the writing to someone else. By hiring a freelance copywriter directly, you’re essentially cutting out the middle man!
I pride myself on the SEO skills that I bring to the table. I’ve written plenty of content for large and small businesses, getting results for all of them. You can even check out my portfolio to see some of my past work.
While I absolutely love blogging, I do offer other types of copywriting services for interior design and home decor niches. If you need help with your eBook, email marketing newsletter, landing page, the home page of your website, social media posts, product descriptions, or anything else, I can help you out.
I receive a wide range of clients. I often have agencies as clients as they’re outsourcing content writing to me. But I have received clients who are interior designers, home decor shops (both physical and eCommerce), exterior & interior painters, real estate brokers, moving companies, and so much more. My clients widely range, and you’re more than welcome to take a look at my portfolio where you’ll get an idea of some past clients as well as some of my past work.
Absolutely! I’m an avid gardener myself!
It depends on the topic, and whether or not I have experience in it. I have written about home renovations, plumbing, HVAC, mold protection, and insulation. If you have something in mind, just reach out to me, and I can send you some of my past peices.
I factor in the number of hours I’ll need to complete your writing project, I don’t charge for my copywriting services by the hour. This is going to include how much research I’m needing to do, what your requirements are, but the word count will need to be factored in. So, in short, I don’t charge a set amount as it all depends on the project itself.
Of course!
I require a 50% deposit upfront for all projects. The other 50% will be due once the project is completed.
Yes! I do offer discounts for bulk projects. If you’re a long-term client, then there will also be discounts and freebies for you.
I personally try to keep a warm and friendly tone when writing, as this seems like the tone that audiences prefer. Feel read to read some of my blog posts or even glance at my portfolio to get a feel for my usual tone.
Absolutely! Some of my clients have been with me for years! I’m always open to creating a long-term partnership.
Yes, there will be a contract. Once we’ve discussed the parameters of your project, I’ll then put together an agreement that summarizes the details, this will include the requirements and the pricing as well. The agreement is a good way for us both to ensure that we have the same expectations.
Absolutely! Before I began freelance writing and blogging, I was an SEO specialist. I absolutely love SEO and it’s something I always find so enjoyable. My own websites, as well as those of many of my clients, rank on page 1 of Google in large part because of their written content. I can even assist in keyword research.
Here is my portfolio, feel free to take a look around. My blog is also filled with articles that I’ve written. So you can get a feel for my writing that way as well.
Feel free to take a look at my testimonial page of some of my past clients. If you would like to see a reference page then please let me know and I can send you some contact information of past clients (with their permission of course).
I don’t always take work on. There will be several factors such as my schedule, whether or not I feel like I can produce high-quality content the client is asking, and my experience/ knowledge. For instance, I don’t have much experience with architecture, so it’s not something that I can write about.
I can’t exactly give a definitive answer for this one but I try to begin projects as soon as possible. If you have an emergency project then please let me know, but understand that I charge extra for fast delivery. I try my best to have a turnaround time of 5 to 10 business days but I try my best to deliver faster if it’s possible.
You own the copyright on any copy that you’ve hired me to write for you. So, you can do whatever you want with it.
I do have a Fiverr account where I also offer interior design and home decor articles and other writing services. But, it’s important to keep in mind that what I charge on Fiverr is not only more expensive (as it is a third-party platform), but my services are slightly different. With Interior Encounters, you’ll be receiving more revisions, a conversation on the project, and so much more.
Yes, I can do that.
You can go ahead and contact me by email about what you’re interested in, and I’ll get back to you within 2 business days.
